can nintendo do anything to a modded wii??

hi i have a soft modded wii and i have flashed my xbox 360. i know that ms can ban my console from xbl and corrupt my hdd. do nintendo ban consoles or anything like that??

No.

They have banned some people from specific games, like mario kart, if it is obvious that they are cheating. But even that ban is linked to the friend-code of the save game and not the console.

Ive been worried about setting up my WC24 setting on Mario Kart and other stuff too. I know MS just bans consoles from Live but for some od reason I think Nintendo will shed its happy image and sue my ass.

Your wii could be bricked. But from what ive heard, it really only happens when your soft modding the wii. To be safe I would stay away from the online gaming just in case. Thats what i do.

I have come across the same info. No one has been banned or bricked. I have heard of cheaters being kicked from specific games for cheating but no bans.
