I'm going to have someone mod my system with ixtreme firmware. I do have some questions about it.
1. Is this safe? Are there any chances it could damage my system?
2. Are others who have had this done satisfied?
3. What percentage of games is this firmware compatible with? Has anyone had any problems with games?
4. Quite a few months back, I was going to have another person do this, but never got around to it. That person told me it took around 45 minutes to do the mod. The current person that's going to do it for me told me it takes 10 minutes. I wonder why I was told 2 such extremely different times and which is correct?
5. The person who will be modding my system says it's Xbox live compatible, but I read that modded systems are being banned from Xbox live. By chance, was there a new version of the firmware released that makes it so you can't be banned? Or does this person not realize that systems are being banned?
6. Any other thoughts or input you could provide me with would be much appreciated. Thanks!

A: There's a chance of flashing the incorrect key to the drive leaving you with a simple DVD player instead of a 360. Always flash the key to a seperate drive and test it to see that the key matches.
2. Are others who have had this done satisfied?
A: Others lol thousands the only problem with having a modded system is the risk of beign banned from XBL other wise no one would have a single complaint.
3. What percentage of games is this firmware compatible with? Has anyone had any problems with games?
A: All games are compatible.

A: 1st person was either new or like to take their time and test the key. 2nd person probably doesn't test the key just flashes over whatever key he reads of the drive a little risky.

A: The only system that's XBL safe is an unmodded system you might be able to connect but the risk of beign banned is high right now.

A: Don't mod your system but a cheap one of Ebay that hopefully matches your power supply for around $50 to $80 and mod that one purchase games you wanna play online at stores. Backups with the other one not all games are great for online play anyways.
