You can use both. However, DVD+Rs need to be book-typed to DVD-ROM.

Nothing but +R book typed to dvd-rom!


edit: my bad: -Rs work also. I thought he asked about burning movies and what I used which is all +Rs and -R will work there also. Wii I have no idea what I would use.LOL

Most all DVD-R will work (depends on media quality). Some DVD+R will work and some will not. So I would stick to DVD-R.

I use DVD-R and they havent gave me a problem yet. Ive always stayed away from the +R just because I know they can be fussy if not burnt properly. Seems like some people have already responded and seem to use DVD+R also though. Nothing wrong with that then.

I have had great success with DVD-R Have used: Memorex RiData Verbatim Sony HP and TDK and have had good luck with them all

Yup same here. Ive tried Memorex, TDK, Sony, and Maxell. Had no problems here. DVD-R that is.
