xexloader on modded mu and no hdd

i was wondering if it was possible mod my 360s mu with usb connector then with some app copy xexloader v.26 to it.i do not have a hdd or transfer kit.all help is greatly appreciated

You can run xexloader from a disc. Get the iso version. Burn it to a regular dvd and leave that in your drive. It'll boot in to xexloader then you can play games from your external hdd.

i already burnt the iso to cd and tried but it just gives me a blank screen when i played it.is there a difference when i use a cd instead of dvd?,coz i read somewhere that you can use cd or dvd.thanks

Hmmm, not sure. I actually have it burnt to a dvd rw. I use that when I want to use my hdd with my LIVE profile on it (that way you can still earn achievements while not having anything on your hdd that shouldn't be there).

I grabbed xexloader .26.iso and burnt it using imgburn. Works fine.

Your 360 has xbr installed, right?

Yes xbr is installed v5 for falcon.Guess i will get a dvd rw too and burn with img burn as i used roxio-Thought it wouldnot matter-.so if xex loads,will i be able to copy it to my mu?,i really dont like the disk noise especially at night.thanks again

I'm not too sure about booting xexloader from a memory card. Whether you have it installed on a hard drive or on a disc, xexloader shows up as a game itself and you select "play game" to boot xexloader.

So I'm not sure if the dashboard will let you play a game (meaning booting xexloader) from a memory card.

Ok thanks for the info,one more thing...Can emus run fine on usb as i see most of these programs are meant to be used on hdd and are roms games?
