Acekard 2i, new dsi problem

Hi all,
I have a new dsi purchased at xmas. With it i have an Acekard 2i with a 2gb microsd. When inserting into console i can choose the acekard option but then the screen turns black and an error message appears. Thinking the acekard was faulty i tested it on 6 month old dsi - this worked perfectly. I then tried the card on neice's new dsi also bought xmas time and the same error message appeared.

Do I need new firmware for the newer dsi's? Or do I need a new card (i.e acekard)? I have had a search on the forums and am finding solutions for people with R4 cards. Has anyone had similar problems?

Ok, it seems i was a tad hasty. I have found an update for the acekard 2i which has worked perfectly. It did mention that there was a risk of ruining the card but i took the chance and it fixed the problem using an older dsi.

I found it in another thread, went to the link http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/ , downloaded the link for the acekard 2i firmware v1.4.zip, and used the older dsi to update it.

for some reason it has renamed my acekard (when seen from the loading menu) to danny phantom urban jungle! As long as it works I am happy with that.
