Korean modded wii doesnt play games

Hi,

I bought a modded wii when I lived in Korea. I was able to download and burn games and play them perfectly and there were only a few problems with some games that didnt work. but I recently moved back to canada and I download games from the same site and follow the exact same process of burning games as I did in Korea but now the new downloaded games dont work. When i enter homebrew everything loads fine but when it gets to the game screen it fills up with letters and numbers.

Does anyone know what could be the problem? Or is it that I have been having bad luck with the games I have been downloading.
