Was wondering if it is possible to change my Japanese wii from Japanese to English in the main menu area. I have just followed the 4.2 firmware softmod guide - all systems except for Korean and it worked fine... so if there is a way to do this through HBC or any other means, I have not found it. I have searched this topic and cannot find anything usefull.

If you are not able to change the language from japanese to english in the menu settings then i dont think its possible at all.

There is a region changer homebrew program that will change your wii's region and allow you to install an english menu, but I'm warning you now that it is a VERY dangerous program to mess with and can very easily brick the console.
