I heard this was possible but can't seem to find it anywhere. I'm looking to use my xbox controller as a emulater controller for shooters like halo.

You mean using the xbox controller on a pc? There's an offical wireless reciever add on for doing that. If you mean using bluetooth on an xbox 360 console this has been tried before and is impossible.

no, I don't care about connecting to the console. And I've seen the wireless reciever. I looked around online before I asked here. I mean using blue tooth to directly connect with my controller INSTEAD of using the external hardware, which is beyond my budget atm.

No it wouldn't work, you could always get a wired controller which is a lot cheaper than the wireless reciever.

There is a software that will install drivers into your wireless card on your computer to make it work as this wireless device but it renders your wireless card useless until your computer is formatted and new drivers installed. Where to get it i have no clue but i do know it exsists as i did this with my old laptop
