do i need to erase my lite-on drive if upgrading firmware

Hi, im looking at upgrading the firmware for my lite-on drive FW VER:74850c, it has already been modded to the 1.6 firmware but i want to enable it to play the wav4 games so need 1.61 loaded, but i have read the jungleflasher guide and it says you need to load the firmware then erase the drive, but only do it once??? does that mean that i dont need to erase the drive as it must have been done when last firmware was loaded,
any help thanks

Assuming you have your drive key, yes just start from the Erase bit on Leerage guide (in the ultimate stickey).
