I am in the process of flashing my Hitachi drive. Im using jungleflasher but I am not sure which drive revision or transfer method I need to select. Any Ideas? Thanks.

To find out the version, look at the top of the drive




And just use whatever transfer method the Jungle Flasher guide tells you to use.

thanks. I am using windows 7 and my pc wont detect the drive. I am using the xbox to pwer the drive and I have it connected via SATA. any ideas?

Yeah, i have found that PortIO is a ballache with hitachi's, try using WinAPI

I am using Win API. It still doesnt recognise it. Is there anything else that I need to do while running windows 7?

It will only be used by windows once you send mode B, it still should be viewable in device manager. Can you see your drive in device manager?

no i cannot see it in devise manager. If jungleflasher cannot detect the drive, how am i supposed to send it to mode b?
