Windows 7 does not recognize my hitachi-LG GDR-3120L please Help!

I have my Hitachi drive connected to my pc via SATA cable. I am using the xbox360 to power the drive. I disabled the Driver Signature Enforcement and Signed the portio.sys driver. Windows 7 still does not recognize the drive. Im using jungleflasher which doesnt recognize the drive. please help.

I find that Hitachi drives are best used with the Via drivers (WinAPI) rather than port IO. Windows 7 has a driver for your SATA card built in with the OS, make sure its installed and worked properly and use WinAPI.
