I'm currently using Ixtreme 1.51 on my BenQXbox 360 and I really can't be bothered to learn how to upgrade it to 1.61. I have never used Xbox Live, ever. What I need to know is, if I patch all my games down to Wave 3 and someday upgrade to Ixtreme LT and start playing on Live, will I get banned. And I'm not planning to play my patched games online, but I am afraid that the Xbox may store some info on what I've been up to.

Anyone have any idea? Cheers...
There is always a possibility that you will get banned. You may already have stored info on your xbox that will be uploaded to M$ next time you connect it to the internet.
As you have patched games already, you more than likely will be banned anyway. The only benefit you will really get from LT is that you dont have to patch your games.
Thanks for the reply mate. With all the bans going on, I'm losing faith in flashing. I guess I'll use this Xbox with patched games and stay offline indefinitely. I'll have to get a new Xbox someday and use originals for online play. I'm generally very unlucky, so it's kinda definite that I'll be smacked senseless with the ban hammer. Cheers...
