Cyclic redundancy Error, CRC, you'll get if:
The disc is dirty/scratched;
The the data is corrupted(or encrypted, like the case of commercially pressed DVDs).
If the physical aspect of the DVD is okay, no visible damage/dirt, then try ripping it with DVDFab instead. DVD Shrink hasn't been updated in ages, cannot decrypt the newer discs.

Hello Anybody,
I am also getting the same error messages with DVD Shrink AFTER DVD43 has done it's thing.
Any ideas?
If the disk will play OK in a DVD player, then why the can't read error messages on my PC?

Dvd 43 is an old program that conflicts with other installed programs...
As cyprusrom suggested, rip with DVDFab Decrypter before using dvd shrink.

Dear RTM27,
Thanks for the heads-up! I will give it a try.
I hear that getting rid of DVD43 is a real chore, so we'll see how it goes!
Thanks.

The disc will also play OK on your PC if all you try to do is play it using a DVD playback software, a media player(unless of course the disc is damaged). The error you'll get it when trying to use an authoring software that needs to bypass the encryption.
