So I'll give the basic idea of what i want to do
i have a liteon dg-16d2s stock for my xbox 360
i also have a Samsung ts-h943 Ms-28
i want to spoof the samsung drive to a liteon drive so i got the ixtreme firmware for the liteon. I plugged my samsung drive in through my sata cables to my motherboard and eventually got it to get recognized. but then i for some great reason i started to mess with stuff before reading up on it and did some wierd things in the firmware tool 32 tab, im not sure what exactly what i did but all i know is that when i went back to the mtk flash 32 tab the drive properties were no longer there. o yeah and i also did some stuff with sammy unlock and the intro outro buttons, once again not sure.

ALSO
when ever i try to load Jungle flasher it says "cant install portio32.sys driver!"
it didn't use to say this so idk why it is now. i run the portio32.exe program and it says its installed and running. and i even placed the portio32.sys file in the the C:\\\drivers folder
and yes before you ask i did do a manual install through the install hardward way mutiple times.

please help

hi joe,

first off the issue with the sammy???????? you got me confused, so you never got as far as dumping the key? what version have you got? M25 or M28

I think you should uninstall the portio drivers and the current version of Jungle Flasher and install the latest version of JF which is 1.70. This has the portio drivers built in and may help you with your problems.

ends up the portio drive in the jungleflasher folder was bad so now it is detecting both drives

i have the original fw and key for the sammy and now its just a matter of getting the key/ firmware from the liteon.

i've looked into it a bit and im decided to go with the build your own probe approach from a npn transistor and the 1k and 10k resistors with the female db9 port thing
