Hi peeps im interested in starting from fresh and installing the newest software for playing backups or any new additional addons that are out now, i have software already installed on my wii but its maybe 7-8 months old and newer games do not work i get error 002 and ive installed the error fix and still doesnt. i want to format it and start fresh because not everything works how it should the wads dont installed correctly etc, so im just looking for some help of how to format it clean and a toturial of the newest and best software installation :) and any good addons ... any imformation would be appreciated :) thanks all

More info would be helpfull.

What firmware do you have on the system?

What loader are you using (as in the name of the loader and revision if it has 1)?

What cIOS your using?

What do you mean when you say the WADS don't install correctly?

Uninstall Backup launcher / NEO GAMMA, Backup Launcher GAMMA 0.3 and USB Loader v1.0.

If they are booted through Homebrew Channel then just delete them off the SD card.

If they are installed as channels then go to Wii Settings/Data management/Channels and delete them from the Wii system memory.

Do not format your Wii system.

After that upgrade to 4.2 firmware and follow the 4.2 softmod guide in my sig.

After following the guide if you still get the #002 error you can go to NeoGamma R7 settings and enable the #022 error fix.

They are on as channels, and your sure it will update no worries because i have removed them before and then bricked my friends we because of it.....

And in your tutorial it says you need 1gb/2gb card only 1 i have is 8gb will that still work ?

I don't see how you could brick a Wii by uninstalling channels or updating.

If the update was out of region then yes you can brick the system.

But you should be perfectly fine uninstalling the channels via Wii Data management and updating the system using Wii settings.
