According to the latest official blog, YouTube has now released an experimental version of an HTML5-supported player, giving users their "number one request" for new updates. I like the fact that you no longer need plug-ins to watch video as long as it's encoded in h.264. Flash has bad problems with crashing, it's also another avenue for hackers to exploit.

nonoitall i am fully with you, no more propertarian flash, any company that pushes propertarian software or hardware are best avoided as much as is possible.
