Just need some help with the sata cable, I need to know where to plug it in on my pc?

Connect the cable to your motherboard's SATA port. It can be in different colours.

Well most PC cases have a side that you can un-screw. Un-screw the side of the PC case and take it out. Then you will see your motherboard.

Also since it seems you have never done this, be sure to clean out any dust inside of the PC.

Assuming you have a pc and not a laptop, you'll have to pop off the side panel to expose the mobo. After doing so, just look for the SATA ports that are described in the pictures above. Make sure to power off and unplug your pc first! SATA drive can be hotswapped...but if you're not sure of what you're doing, it's best not to take the risk. Hope that helps.
