how did you get the game image? This will happen if you try to just rip the image with imgburn because you need the xbox drive in 0800 mode to properly unlock and read the image to your PC.
I didn't rip this myself, it was obtained from a "trustable" torrent source and from the comments listed - people didnt have trouble with the files. I ran it through abgx and it came up as everything being perfect.
Also, I had already set the layerbreak to that setting beforehand.
:S
Any other ideas? Really frustrating wasting expensive blank media =[
weird, like I said I've seen this error before it was because I ripped it wrong. It even checked out in abgx which now thinking about it was pretty strange. Might want to try a different release of the game

Had a further look around, apparently its due to **** media being used. The fact that i paid £1.50 per disc doesnt look good, mustve gotten con'd. idk.
Ill attempt a different release though and see how it goes.
If anyone has any definite info regarding this problem please let me know.

I was looking for some answers to why ImgBurn seems to have more failed burns that DVD Decrypter and I saw this. I don't burn any games at all, only DVD Movies.

What does setting ImgBurn to this do for me.
That tells the Imgburn program where to start burning the 2nd layer of the dual layer dvd disc. And judging by where yours stops, it appears to be about half way through.
When I've seen this error, it has always been due to burner error. Have you checked the firmware for your burner?
Also, looking at New Egg's customer reviews of that drive, the Lite-On 20A1H, it seems like there are a lot of people out there who are having problems with burn fails on that drive. You might want to look more deeply into that.
$38 on new discs -- Check
$15 on burn after burn that showed as a DVD -- Check
$11 on new laser -- Check
$28 on new multimeter -- Check
