after a few days of messing around with my wii and having trouble getting backups to play i finally got punch out working. I ran in to a problem however...it started and booted up fine but everything was in black and white. does anyone know what is going on?

Force NTSC in the Loader game settings.

one more thing, when i load up neogamma r7 it says my cIOS has revison 7 when i know ive downloaded revision 14

Try installing cIOS38_rev14 again (use network install if you have WiFi). Make sure it installs properly. If it doesn't then try using AnyTitleDeleter and delete IOS249. Then try installing it again.
