Need help with the Liteon dirve POT CALIBRATION

hey guys i doing a calibration for my liteon because im getting a dirty disc error on my xbox360 my laser working at 5.95 now what should i drop it down too??

any help would work

wow I didnt know they went up that high. I thought 4 was on the high end...some people drop their benqs down to like 2.2 but i've always heard never to go below 3.0 - 3.2. Basically just drop it by .250-.500 each fraction of a turn until you get your read errors to go away. If liteon's are that high stock you probably shouldn't go below like 4 or so.

i was very surpise at that rate of how much my laser was working i was thing only going to like 4.95 just to see how that work cuz i dont think that shit should be working that hard

yea you can definitely tell when it's working harder than it needs to because it starts making weird clicking noises and kinda sounds like it's resetting position or something (and of course disc unreadable error). Really though i think it's best to get a disc that you have a hard time reading and do trial and error on it by dropping it .250 to .500 at a time until the read errors go away. This way you can strike a good balance between having the read errors gone and prolonging the life of the laser by not running too much power to it.
