I have a laptop, so i have been using external burners. The problem is, when buying them offline, they only say their max burn speed and not the lower speeds. I want a burner that burns at 2x and have been through a couple different burners now. I was just wondering if somebody could tell me a good external burner for burning 360 games, or if they could explain how to set up an external enclosure and use that with an internal pioneer. I would have to power that by usb though.

I have never dealt with external burners, however, if the burner burns at a slightly higher speed than 2.4 it shouldnt be effect the quality of the burn as much. I have a built in burner for burning games, however, when i burn with "ImgBurn" i always get, "Speed mismatch, wanted x2.4, got x5.1. When using Verbatim discs I never have had a bad burn yet.

yeah, they weren't having a problem, then lately just been having problems. Getting a lot of disc read errors for some reason. I would like to set up an external enclosure, but i don't wanna buy the stuff because i don't really know how to set those up. Also, is there anyway to be sure your getting verbatim from singapore before you buy them off the internet? The only way i can get them is to buy them off the net. Maybe a trustworthy site or something
