(For all of you that have been playing it)
Alright so I'm 10 hours in and I haven't found a single place to buy weapons or armor. I haven't found any armor just laying around either. All I've gotten is a new pistol (very beginning) an assault rifle and a heavy weapon. Wtf? Are you not supposed to get new gear anymore? It's almost like the game has been completely turned into a third person shooter.

Someone, enlighten me

Ummmmmmmmmmmmm, I'm gonna take a stab at this one so here goes.

Cerberus Network Card allows you to download and buy new things such as weaponry and armor.

No card....no snazzy gear.

EA is now in Bioware's hip pocket..
the same EA which uses "NBA DNA" for NBA Live which is a one time code that comes with every new game..effectively trying to slit the throat of used game sales since it's $15 or $20 to just buy the DNA code for a season.

Actually, I've gotten all kinds of new gear. You find it laying around. As far as I can tell you don't get it all in stores now. You just get "Mods" and new weapon blueprints from stores. The Citadel has a weapons shop. Right now I'm using this pistol I got during the Archangel mission that's a freaking monster.
