Single red flashing light lower right quadrant after flash

So, I think I correctly flashed to ie1.6 from 1.4 but I have no way of knowing because when I turn on the 360 I get a red flashing light in the lower right quadrant.

At first I forgot to replug the SATA cable back into the drive and I turned it on almost everything worked fine except when I tried to put in a disc it wouldn't read it would just say "Open Tray" So I turned it off and thought I had to reflash it and saw that I didn't plug in the SATA cable to the drive. Went back to the TV plugged in the SATA cable before turning on the 360 and, what do I see? A black screen and a single red light flashing in the lower right quadrant.

Has anyone ever had this? I'm pretty sure my drive is trashed now, because when the SATA cable is unplugged from the drive everything functions except for disc reading, but as soon as I plug the SATA cable in the screen goes black and the red light flashes.

Any help would be great.

I have a BenQ. I figured it out though. It was a bad flash I just reflashed using my orig.bin from dosflasd as my source and the ie16-benq as my target and wrote it to my drive.

Works like a charm now.
