Ive been using Orb to stream music to both my xbox and PS3 for months now. Both over LAN (hard wired). Tonight I tried to stream a movie (the Hurt Locker) to the PS3. The picture quality SUCKED and it was all choppy. Kind of like it was skipping. I then tried on my xbox 360 and it was even worse (it was blurry). The file is a .AVI file about 2.75GB.

I then opened up a web server, accessed the site with my PS3 web browser and downloaded the .avi move to the PS3's hdd. Talk about a beautiful picture. Why can't I get the same quailty from streaming it over the PS3? How does Netflicks do it, lol?

Problem solved. Ditch ORB and go with TVersity
