Problems With Brand NEW BenQ Drive. Please Help

Hi everyone. Ive just signed up for some advice and after alot of looking around im yet to find a soloution.

So i Have a Elite with a benq drive Which stopped working.

So i Figured id get a new drive.
I flashed the drive with original firmware which i read from my old benQ drive.

Now this is annoying me so much as the drive is new and hasnt been opened.

I keep getting open tray error, which means the console cant dectect the disk right.

Well this is what happened today for example:
The console wouldnt load any games to start off with. (i tried 3 different games)

So i ejected the tray took the game out and shut the tray then ejected it and shut it and the put a game in.

It worked and loaded up. Took the game out and put a different game in. Nothing. Just "open tray" tried a different game... nothing... tried the original game i got working on it before and nothing.

It really doesnt make sence. The laser seems to be trying to read the lead in on the disk but cant and stops.

Please anyone with any advice?

I was wandering about that but surely i shouldnt have to on a new drive?

This is the second NEW drive ive had for this console and its done exactly the same each time.

Just makes me more frustrated but im determined to get it working

Okay guys that seemed to have done the trick. Still a little bit puzzled as to why a new drive should have to have its pot calibrated.

It was original at 4.02
and now ive set it at 3.62

Loads up games fine now.
