Is there anything additional to be done after uploading the 1.5 Core 400 file to the StarView 1 Box? Does the autoroll work irrespect of the country you are in (Caribbean)?

Thanks for reply. Yes nagra is being used. The box worked fine before but my son managed to do a factory rest on it. I'm about to update it with the new bin as mentioned but I'm wondering if I would need to input the current codes to start with or would the new software find the codes automatically??

i would use the 257 instead of 400 because if your box is a clone it will brick it,257 will work for both, factory reset 0000 to delete, remove any splitters first, auto scan your provider when channels are loaded, exit out and press menu1570 key emu to on and also set default key press and exit out then it should update.

Verified that my Starview is an original. Udated it with the 400bin. That was successful. update with channels fine. set emu on and set default as well. Exit out and still scrambled or bad channel on all. Getting a good signal from signal meter however.

Wont I have to know the keys in the nagravision section in the first place and then the autoroll works from then on? It ask for Provider ID, Key Number and Key Data. What do I put in these fields?

Got keys and entered manually. It works now. How can I test if autoroll works?
