Wi Fi Max for my Wii.

Hi all.
I have just bought the WiFi max for my Nintendo Wii hoping to hook it up to the internet. I do not have a home internet connection i only have a wireless dongle as my internet connection.
I have installed the software for the wifi max dongle onto my laptop. I then left it plugged into my laptop and went to see if my Wii could detect it as a wireless connection. It couldn't even though the green light on the dongle is lit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated please?

Did you bridge the WiFi Max and Internet Dongle connection?
