Hey guys, First post here.

I looked up several Tutorials and wasted 6 or 7 DVD+R DL verbatim disks trying to get backups burned to play on my newly flashed xbox360.

The Xbox360 is a lite on drive with 1.6 ixtreme FW on it. The iso i have has a .dvd file with it that has the correct break information in it. I'm trying to burn it with imgburn but when i put it in the xbox after burning and verifying it just tries to play it as a dvd, the very last time i tried it said it couldn't read media. I am burning them at 2x and tried patching it with abgx360 once, that didn't work the verification on the disk failed around 50% and it tried to read it as a dvd. The others i tried with different settings and other games i must be doing something wrong but all the tutorials say to do exactly what I'm doing.

Anyone have any insight as to what the problem might be?

what game is it if it is a newer game it probbably is a wave 4 game than u need to burn an activate disc . u play the activate disc and eject when the generic please insert this disc into a xbox 360 screen comes up and then insert your ripped game.

It's Left 4 Dead 2 and Darksiders, pretty new games, I'll try to burn that disk and see if that works.

I noticed there was a newer version of my firmware out ixtreme LT, is this better then my 1.6? Will it eliminate the need for a boot disk? Can i flash it over the 1.6 i have now with jungle flasher or do i need another program for that?

With LT you won't need a boot disc so update
