bootmii and 4.2u firmware question...

hello my problem started when my little cousin deliberately updated my softmodded wii 3.2u to 4.2u firmware & now i can't play any of my old/new games anymore! grrr...

i tried using larry's 4.2u softmod guide but it just wont work for me i keep getting "cant load ios to system memory" in downgrade ios15 section of the guide. my question is..i've backed up my nand w/bootmii and installed bootmii as boot2 on my wii before/after my cousin updated it to 4.2u,can i just load my nand using bootmii even if my wii isn't bricked? will i then be able to use larry's 4.2 softmod guide w/o errors?

please need your help coz i don't want to tell my aunt what his stubborn kid did to my wii.

by the way,is it better if i downgrade it back to 3.2u? if yes,any help how to do it?

Have you tried using a different SD card?

Are you positive your have the proper WAD files on the SD Root?

I think Trucha Bug Restorer lets you use WiFi as well. Have you tried leaving the WAD Files off the SD card and use WiFi during the Trucha Bug Restorer step (Downgrade IOS15)?

How many blocks do you have left for the system memory? If you have allot of VC/WiiWare games and other channels installed their might not be room to run Trucha Bug Restorer to downgrade the IOS15.

Thanks larry! i f__ked up with the wads,i installed wrong one's. wasn't thinking straight coz i wanted the choke my bratty cousin last night. anyway,i was able to install it w/o problems anymore and my cousin is giving his praise/thanks to you coz if not for your help he's dead meat.

hope you continue helping noobs like me always.
