Bootmii start up problem

I have yet another bootmii problem, sorry if this is a stupid question im a bit of a newb.

I have 4.2E firmware and installed the HBC with bannerbomb using larryjle's guide. I have bootmii installed as an IOS.

I had to re-update my firmware in order to play a store bought wii sports resort, so I deleted the HBC from the channels list along with a backup loader and cfg usb loader, updated the wii, and reinstalled the HBC and bootmii with bannerbomb again. All of my other apps seem to be working fine, but when I try load boot mii from the HBC my tv loses signal from the wii, and my wii and gamecube controllers become unresponsive.

Any suggestions?

First off, make sure the bootmii folder is on the root of the SD card. Also, don't plug the GC controller until after bootmii is launched. If all else fail, delete the bootmii folder that is on the SD card, and then reinstall bootmii.
