The pdf tutorial says 1st to click on RESTORE.BAT to restore original fw. The rar file with new ix fw is only bin files, no bat files. Anyone any clues?

When restoring Original Firmware on Hitachi's Jungle Flasher automatically chooses the correct orig.bin file for that specific drive once you have clicked restore firmware.Are you using Jungle Flasher?

Or do I just use Jungleflasher? Just noticed this app. I have a Hitachi and not a 78 or 79.

I use Jungle Flasher for all my Firmware Upgrades.It's easy to use and comes with a great tutorial.
