Easy kid.. no need for that kind of talk.
Team Xecuter announced the xdrive 360 awhile back. I haven't heard of any place that carries it but that doesn't mean it isn't out there.

Alright I'll give apolgies there, Non the less it's a waste of money concept. The thing that bothers me is people get quick help responces for the simplest easy to find problems and situations, I'm always asking for help on a higher more up to date situations, liek my post Freestyle Dash360, and noone even replies. It's agrivating.

LOL first of all I'm not gonna comment on you calln me retarted. I'm actually far frm that. the drive I'm tlkn bout is an external drive for the 360. if u go to www.consolesource.com and look under xbox 360 mod stuff you will find it. 2nd of all, I am tryin to learn how to mod you would perfectly understand if you were on here trying to learn something you didn't kno. anyways if anyone knows anything about this drive (which I assume noone does) then your help will be appreciated.

The xdrive allows you to switch from your stock drive to your modded drive. You can flash iX to the xdrive and have it externally. Will this really save you from a ban on XBL? I doubt it. It should be assumed that if you go online with a modded drive, eventually you will be banned.

No, it will not effect the internal. You may want to keep your internal drive as stock and untouched and have your external unit freely available to do with as you please; you may want to increase the longevity of your internal DVD drive - there are many reasons for you to benefit from the Xecuter xDrive.
Here is a link to the installation guide. You can see for yourself what the benefits would be.

Benifits?!?! thats a huge waste of time and money, not only that you have to supply your own spare 360 drive to begin and flash it with your key onto special fw. Might as well keep your box open and swap out your drive manualy to do the same thing while keeping air flow to your 360 to the max.....

thanks a lot for your help... I guess the only thing I need to know now is will this effect my XBL & how difficult would it be to flash the external drive...

Easy if your already setup to flash 360 drives, not tooo difficult as long as you have a computer with a compatible sata port. Then just using the latest Jungle Flasher, don't forget to install PortIO32. but once again you'll have to have your key from your original drive, so you have to open it up get your key and place it on the proper hacked fw then on your new drive, then go thorugh the whole proccess that they were kind enough to post a link of. when you can just keep your box open from this point on and it wont effect your system, and swap drives accordingly will do the same thing while saving a lot of money, and if anything does go wrong with a drive or anything replacement and diagnostics is easy to do and time saving.

Actually, it could be possible that Microsoft is reading the amount of times the dvd drive has been flashed. Using this could save you from being banned (I doubt it though).

If thats the plan like i said instead of spending teh money, once you have your spare drive and your system open simply swap the drives physically with the box open, saves money, and would litterly only take you a second to swap once they have the proper keys on them

yeah but I like the convenience of not having to open my 360 over and over or leaving it open all the time.. but to save money wat u said would save money but not time. I have opened so many 360s because of rrod I don't want to look inside more than I have to.

Why are you arguing what is best for someone to do? If he wants to buy something and wants to use it for what its made for who are you to question him? Go troll elsewhere.
