Hey, so I have a Samsung drive, modded with 1.6. I also have a schmorgesborg of wave 4 and wave 3 games. The problem is that my activate.iso disk won't work on this console. Activate.iso is loaded, but all wave 4 games just say "play dvd" when attempting to one shot boot
First off
-console is unbanned, and not plugged into XBL
-all wave 3 games work normally on my console
-my activate.iso and wave 4 games all work perfectly on a friend's console, so burning isn't the problem.
-I have always used the same disc brand with my xbox, which have never failed, so disc brand is not the problem
-I have samsung, 1.6 as i mentioned
-I know the process of one shot boot (insert, eject, insert game) so that is not the problem.
-all other games work fine so it's not my laser
$38 on new discs -- Check
$15 on burn after burn that showed as a DVD -- Check
$11 on new laser -- Check
$28 on new multimeter -- Check
