OMG so your saying that my xbox drive is ruined if i didnt do it right..

im so screwed if thats the case

Please help me i really have to do something about this

well did you
1:dump the firmware before attempting to flash

2:did you hit spoof to source before flashing the cfw to the drive

3:have you used the wrong drives firmware on yours (ie samsung FW on your benq drive)

4:have you read leerages tutorial on flashing the benq drive in the ultimate sticky

If no one knows what you did wrong we can't help you save the drive.

I didnt dump the files before the flash because i didnt know how

i did hit spoof to source

and i know that it was benq because it said benq161

and i dont know what leerages is .

That might be your problem then.

new drive is useless since he doenst have is original drive key. hes screwed. plain and simple. only hope for him is that his console is on pre-homebrew killing update and hes willing to pay someone to dump the nand to get the dvd drive key and reflash it. if youre in the US, send me a message, i would be willing to do that assuming your dash is below 2.0.8.

Oh and another thing i didnt use the mod chip to flash it i just put my 2 fingers on the drive so it wouldnt move...does that make a difference??

LoL no, but I'm curious now...I read where you said you didnt dump the firmware and now you're saying you used your fingers to hold open the drive door (which is harmless) but If you havent used the COnnectivity Kit nor Maximus what did you use to flash you drive?
