Need help with Canopus ADVC-50

I've been using the device (almost daily) for over a year (very happy with it). However, yesterday when I turned on my PC and wanted to use it, all of a sudden, it's no longer in the computer, my PC does not recognize it! It used to appear at my Device Manager under "imaging devices", and now it just disappeared! Did anyone ever experience something like that and knows how it can be solved? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
P.S am using Windows 2000.

Maybe try Re-Installing your Firewire Controller Card and then re-install the ADVC-50...worth a try?
