Im having a few problems flashing my 93450c.Ive got the xecuter lt switch installed and working.ive managed to get the flash properties but when i click read jungleflasher just hangs.Ive tried this several times.For the last two times i canr get the drive into vendor mode.Ive been at this since lunch time.Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure your sata card is disabled and the driver file has been renamed. If you're using the via vt6421 you want to rename the viamraid.sys file in c:\windows\system32\drivers to viamraid.sys.bak Then you can re-enable the driver and reboot and the sata driver should have a yellow exclamation point in device manager. I dont think portio32 drivers are necessary to be installed any more because it's built into jungleflasher.

Ive just put the drive back into the console and it boots up to the dashboard but the centre green light just flashes,Is this drive bricked or can i still get the key.Its a brand new console and im a little worried now.

same happened to me,i would try to get the key off and spoof the key with another drive i did that with a benq,but i wouldnt go online with it,was just a test console i got since i ruined the pcb board on the drive

i used dos flash to get the key off not JF,i only use jf to flash and i used a homemade probe

Thanks for that.That method looks a bit too complex for me.I'm no stranger to flashing 360's but i've never used dos flash and that probe looks a bit daunting to me.I've already installed the xecuter LT switch and that was a pain in itself.Looks like i'm going to have to send it away to be done.I hate getting beat by a piece of hardware.

I'm not sure it's the hardware that's beating you. I've never had success with jungleflasher so I've just used iprep and dosflash. Keep in mind jungleflashed is a very imperfect program and many people with nforce chipsets (like me) have had trouble getting it to work. Good luck.

Can you use ipep for LT? only problem is the drive wont go into vendor mode at all now.Is there anyway of getting the key from this drive.It just shows as open tray in my consoles and i havent even done anything apart from get good flash properties.It still opens and closes.Im just a bit baffled as to why it wont work.

I've just tried to power up the drive and its not happening.the last time i powered it up it worked.i've been extra careful not to put the cable in the wrong way up.If this drive is bricked can the key be retrieved by any other means as £130 is a lot to lose.Cheers.

By "power up the drive" are you referring to attempting to get the key in jungleflasher or another program or will the drive not even open and close when plugged into the 360? And to answer your previous question, yes I believe iprep can be used for LT. Iprep basically just uses dosflash but makes it foolproof. I've done plenty of lite-ons with dosflash and the new version of iprep and I haven't had any problems. I don't see why a newer version of the lite-on firmware would be an issue.

I've gone back on myself and checked the solder points and hey presto it read the firmware and flashed no problem.One of the solder points was obviously loose and in my opinion was causing jungleflasher to "hang".It was strange as the guide clearly states that if you have green led then your solder points are fine and your good to go.
All i can say is test each solder point and try and do the vendor mode and read again after testing each point.Six days it took me but i eventually got there.
