Just got this box and was able to recover from e71. Was able to play the new battlefield bad company 2 demo over live and what not. Games were not reading "play dvd" error. Decided to try and dump the firmware using different jungleflashers as some hung while sending into vendor mode. I was able to dump several times but key turned up zero on all dumps. Maybe someone tried and had a bad go at modding this one? I uploaded the bin for anyone who is a hex master as don't have any clue as to what string to look at. Can anyone help me please and either help me find the key or advise as to whether there is no key and maybe suggest an alternative as to what I might be able to do?

if your getting 0000 right across,,yea your screwed,,i have an xbox with the same thing,,dont have the keys,,if you have a big harddrive you can now download 360 games from live,,ok so you pay,,this way the 360 is not a waste,,not to many people know this,,
Sell it or wait until someone finds a way to homebrew it later on down the road and then you can get the proper drive key from the keyvault and you can reflash the drive.
Thanks for the responses guys, but I ended up being able to find the key with a hex editor, the dump with the zeros, and some proper guidance. It was in string x40EC, D89E1EC5485A52CF8BA8B73C2DA62674. Was smiling ear to ear when I saw it.
