Ok guys,, there is alot info here, but i can't seem to find what im looking for

I just bought a new Wii 4.2U and bough the homebrew, but i still cant read back up games. I was able to do the raw dump with the LG drive and created the .iso files 4.3gig,, etc,,

but my Wii just dosen't see..
When i run the the homebrew software i get the following (which is different from the video tutorials (btw Homebrew support sucks)
"that boot1 version preventa a boot 2"

Has anyone had the same problem?

"boot1 version prevents a boot 2" = All this means is Bootmii can only be installed as an IOS not as Boot2.

Newer systems have a new drive that can not play backup disc. If you have a newer system then this is probably the issue. If this is the case you will need to use a USB loader to play your backups.

I would follow the 4.2 firmware softmod guide in my sig. After softmodding it use the Configurable USB loader to play your backup games (guide for this is in my sig and is also linked in the 4.2 firmware guide).
