i have some wii games that are rar files , when i extract them they stay as rar files, can a play these of a external hhd ,using a usb loader , or do they have to be iso ...i have a few games backed up on disks ,they work fine because when i extracted them the had a iso file..i have neogamma 8, cois 249 ,,what programs will i need please help ,stuck...or have i setup winrar wrong.
Are you sure they're still rar files. I know it sounds silly but that's a pretty common problem. What happens is winrar claims the iso file extension so the iso files still appear to be rar files.

dude LOL ,
if its a RAR archive you need to extract the archive so the image file is exactly 4.37 gigs.
Now if its only one file that has the RAR extension you need to change your computer settings so that image files read as iso or img files and not RAR.
Check the file extension. No matter what kind of file it is it will still say winrar archive if your file associations are linking it to winrar.
If the file extension says .rar then you didn't decompress it properly. If it says .iso then it did and you can treat it like a standard iso file. Convert and load to a hard drive or burn with imgburn or whatever your preferred method for playing the game is. As Wiigenius said, if it is a proper rip then it should be 4.37 gigs.
