I am about to get a xbox 360homebrew console back and I have a few questions. Any help is greatly appreciated!
1. This xbox has been banned from live, but I haven't hooked it up yet, is there a way to run tversity off of it without connecting to live?
2.I have another console and I would like to switch the hard drive between the two so I can get achievements. This being said should I play games such as the SNES emulator, it has achievements but will they alert Microsoft when I hook the hard drive up to my other console and connect to live?
3. In the future am I ever going to have to open my console up to update any of the homebrew features, or can it all be done form usb/cd/hard drive?
4. What is the best site to get tutorials and info on the latest homebrew?
If I get a new hard drive I will not be able to get achievements on my live gamertag? Also I know tversity has nothing to do with xbox live, but to be safe should I just ban my console then un ban it?, I am saying this because someone might accidentally hit connect to live while the ethernet cord is plugged in.
"someone might accidentally hit connect to live while the ethernet cord is plugged in."
Are you serious? You might get hit by a bus on your way to work tomorrow? Dude, what are the odds that happens?
And if you go on live with an hdd full of homebrew apps, dlc and xbla games you haven't paid for you'll get banned, so your gamertag will be pretty much useless anyway lol.
Thats a good idea deadcell thanks. In regards to the hard drive sicdude you are right, but I can still use it to play normal xbox 360 games, because Microsoft can't tell if I have bought them or not. Also I believe reading somewhere that Microsoft cannot tell what arcade games you have bought or not because of the license transfer policy. I could for example have another gamer-tag on my console that has downloaded that arcade game therefore I can still play that game well still having no records of buying it.
