the my xbox have the falcon board, will adding an 120mm or 96mm fan prevent it from RROD?

was thinking installing it right over the heatsink

should the air blow in or suck out the air?

What heatsink are you installing the fan on?

The bad part is you can't really add a fan to the GPU heatsink and the GPU is responsible for a very high percentage of RROD & E74 errors probably in the high 90s

I'm sure more ventilation couldn't hurt, so this is what I have done?

Infam0us has the right idea. Adding a random fan into your case could actually make it more likely to red ring. The case is designed have optimal airflow already so unless you are blowing in air then you will more than likely make your xbox worse. Infam0us has it recirculating air in the case back on to the GPU heatpipe which isn't changing the airflow in the case.

And my elite is a little loud but it stays under 100f even if my room is at 75.
