SORRY FOR PUTTING THIS INTO THE WRONG FORUM. MY MISTAKE!!


Hello. I was thinking of chipping my Xbox 360 console to play backup copies of games. I have a few questions, as the only console I have chipped is my PS2 :)

1. I own a few games on original copy. If I play these games I have bought on Xbox Live, can Microsoft ban my console?

2. If Microsoft ban my console, will I be still be able to play games or will it just be my Xbox Live that is banned?

3. If I have Xbox Live just to talk to my friends and not to play my backups online, can I get banned?

Hi

the answers to your questions are:

1 - yes, if you modify your 360 and break the T&C's then you will eventually get banned.

2 - yes, it's the console thats banned but you lose XBL until you buy a new 360

3 - yes, see 1

correct, your gaming will be fine you just XBL functionality

Some games ask u to log into XBL to save progress etc Can u still continue games where u left off if you cant get on XBL?
