Quick question to all the firmware and software guys. I just got the above mentioned box for an MMDS input. Anyone know where I could get the required firmware and how to upload it. Complete electronics idiot here. Pm if necessary as dont want to contreven any site rules.

Thanks mate,well I guess if it doesnt work there isnt much I can do about it. They can be used as extra boxes for extra rooms though cant they?

But the box itself will be able to relay the standard channels no? Not the ppv ones just the normal package? Surely it wont block that. Sure all you need is a cable splitter for that?

Once N3 kick's in on mmds game over you wont get any channels on it apart from FTA which is very few prob 3 or 4 no rte2 tv3 e3 you will get rte 1 no bbc or utv so the box will be rendered usless

When your provider switches to N3, ALL channels will be encrypted and that really means ALL !

only chans not encrypted on chxxus mmds are rte1, channel south and the box(music) maybe one other! Def rendered useles when n3 kicks in!

guys trying to upload the MMDS bin file to the Digivox getting no joy the following is coming up:
fail to open COM-port the system cannot find file specified
anyone any ideas?

and where are you getting the mmds bin file from ?? as any channel files there are about will be well out of date by now

just got them from the link Mickah has there seems to be a problem that the box wont flash now. Is there an updated bin?

I tried this morning though at it allowed me to flash the following firware to it "Digivox_Terrestrial-(mmds)_Tralee_Castleisland(16-12-08)_UPDATED2
I cant check to see if its working till tonight though. But at least its let me flash something onto it!
