How can I set my xbox to auto sign in a profile

My premium got RROD so I have got an arcade. I am using my old HDD in it. Every time I start it up I have to manually sign into my profile. How can I make the new xbox recognise my old default profile? On the old xbox it would just sign into it automatically.

By the way I am not asking for auto sign in to xbox live. I just want to sign into an offline profile and cant find any instructions how to do this on M$ shoddy guide website

Sign in to the profile. Then hit the live button the go all the way over to the right and select profile. Auto sign-in is there.
