the left arrow button on my psp is acting up. when you press it, it only goes down a little. you have to press down on the lower part of the left arrow button to get it to go down all the way. its kind of hard to explain, but im doing the best i can. thanks for any help in advance :)

Only option to take the front off the PSP to see what is happening.

There are 7 small cross head screws in the back of the PSP - (2 are hidden under the tamper proof sticker under the battery) when you take the front off, make sure you do not touch the screen or inside of the front plate over the screen (cleaning in a nightmare)

check the buttons and see what is happening, they have plastic button, rubber contact and foil button strip.
