how do i pu movies and music to dvd and cd with nero burner and what files is best to use i have been told to use divx and avi is this true thanxs

ok, your post is a little confusing

first of all do you want music and DVDs on the same discs?

do you want to put a movie onto a DVD and an album onto a CD?

or what?

untill you reply im gonna go with the fact that u want to put movies onto DVDs? right?

do you want to play them in your DVD player? if so u need a compatible format eg mpeg2 or mpeg1

so, no its not really true considering most DVD players dont read neither Divx nore AVI

post with a little more detail and well try to help

yes i want to put movies onto dvd and music on to cd and were can i get mpeg 1 or 2 i have windows media player 9 if thats any good

mpeg1 and 2 are formats for movies or clips

eg DVD, VCD, mpeg AVI Divx u have to *make* the files

dr divx v1.0.4 is very good at conversion from almost any fomat to any other format you can select the file output size and the files attributes

and for music its easy theres mp3, wma

wma = windows media Audio

mp3 is the standard for music files

do you have any of the above files? AVI,mpeg,mp3?

if so tell me what u have and what u want to do with them and i can probably help you with it

but yes u can use Nero to do it just open up the wizard and select make audio CD and pick your tracks/name etc
