Hello im new to all this so im a noob, does anybody weather you can flash the new liteon 93450c / 83850c V2 drives without soldering or do you have to solder?

Soldering is a must unlesss you use the newest CK3 probe.

Yes you still need to solder unless u use the probe to extract the DVD key.

I thought you had to use the switch for those drives? Which requires soldering?

afaik,
74850 liteon drives require the probe
83850 v1 can be done using jf only
83850 v2 and 93450 require soldering

Well there's is a new probe that allows DVD key reading from not only 74850, 83859 and 93450. There's vampire by maxim and the ck3 probe by team xecuter.
