so my wii is softmodded and i use neogamma 7 to play burnt wii games i was wondering does it play PAL games as well as NTSC and is there anything special i need to do to launch a PAL game?

Hi airyx,
Neogamma will play both ntsc/pal just do not accept any updates from the pal games if you are using ntsc wii,I always remove the update using
w.i.u wii iso utilities,Very easy to use you can also patch games from pal/ntsc ntsc/pal.

i would recommend using a usb loader you can follow larryj guide. saves on disks

If you have a USA system yes you have to force NTSC to play PAL.

Force NTSC is in NeoGamma 7 look a little harder (should be under video mode).

well i see force video and patch video i always set force video to Wii, do i set it to NTSC480p? i do have a HD tv that supports all formats up to 1080p

Hi!
I have a PAL Wii 4.2E softmodded and using only USB loader.
All is 100% OK following Larry's guides.
If I have a NTSC game what exactly I need to do to play it? Or will it play at all?

Most NTSC games should play on PAL 60Hz.

Some games are not Import compatible.
