Hey
i have 4.1U wii and im wondering if playing a game like New super mario brothers or are there any other games that if i play, it will make me upgrade my wii n then cause it to be bricked?
Is there any way around this?
n can someone tell me what games wud brick my wii if i played (n it asks me to upgrade)
and if i accidently put in a cd that asks me to upgrade, shud i reset my wii from there or is there like a no button i can click or duz the home button work?

There are apps out there that can extract updates off game data. However, I think it'll be best for you to install Priiloader. Not only can it block disc updates, it can also enable several helpful system menu hacks. You can follow the guide I have under my sig.

does new super mario bros have an update tho? and wud it brick my wii? (its modded with a d2ckey and then softmodded with laryjle guide for 4.1 softmodding cuz i had to unsemibrick it)

The only time it would cause a brick is if the update is outside your region. Same region update will not brick your system.

Edit: I believe NSMB has the 4.1 firmware update.

Yes. To reiterate, make sure the game disc is from your region. The guide under my sig was made before a fix was available for most hard-modded systems.
