im just wondering if someone can help me with this.. im in the Tullamore are and i know its a c****s mmds area but there's a few antenna'a poinitng in the opposite direction.. can anybody answer me on this.. regards

i wouldnt say so, they could be broadband, but ntl MMDS is gone to N3 anyways, corus is in the process of being moved,

i'm not too far away. The area is covered by chorus mmds which is currently open, but as mickah says, not for much longer. why would you want ntl mmds. The stations are practically the same and the only difference is that ntl is gone dark. why would you want to be on ntl over chorus? indeed very shortly why would you want to be on either. mmds as a technology is limited and sky's satellite system can offer far better picture quality. remember the mmds platforms are trying to put as many channels into a limited bandwidth. where you suffer is picture quality and at times picture freezing. mmds is a dying system. cable or satellite is where the picture quality is. mmds is for remote areas where it is too expensive to run cable

i was told theres more channels available on ntl mmds compared to chorus.. so why are the atenna's facing in the croghan direction?? is there another chorus transmitter in that direction??

nope same chans and service, like I said a mute point as you wont get chans on it as they are N3 and the corus service is nearly complete on N3

whats the story with this dreambox on a motorised dish..is that worth buyin to watch the premier league and i also see the cardsharing companys to unlock s*y uk.. have you any info on this??
